A glam Ash!
The night of L’Oreal Femina Women Awards was glamourous, thanks to all the lovely ladies who walked the red carpet, looking dazzling in designer outfits. And, since it was a L’Oreal event honoring the women power, how could the stunning Aishwarya Rai -- the brand ambassadress -- miss the bus!

Trying her best to not look the usual, Aishwarya Rai ditched her voluminous anarkalis and made her appearance at the award function wearing a shimmery, fully sequined Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna gown. But she added a little personal touch to the attire by pairing the lovely flowy gown (that had a slide slit) with a blazer. A cover-up act?

While most actresses prefer Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna to make edgy and glam style statements, the jury is still out on whether Aishwarya managed to do justice to this gown. Nevertheless, she did try to bring a change in her style as she is slowly gaining her fitter self and is open to wear western outfits. Seeing the blazer on her, we feel a nice pair of trousers could have been a safe bet, and would have gelled well with her no-fuss look.

A similar gown was seen on model-turned-actress Esha Gupta at GQ Men of the Year Awards last year.
