Remember in the post-credits scene of The Wolverine, Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) and Magneto (Ian McKellen) make an appearance? Here’s why: the two approach Wolverine to go back in the past to end the war (against mutants) before it ever begins! Confused? Well, that’s how it is intended to be.
Professor Charles Xavier tells Wolverine: “What’s the last thing you remember? I had a glimpse into the past. You are going to have do for me what I once did for you.” Wolverine replies: “So, I wake up in my younger body, and then what?”
Professor then asks him to find the young Charles Xavier and convince him (but of what?). He warns Wolverine that he was a very different man earlier and expects the mutant with claws to ‘lead him, guide him and be patient with him’. LMAO. Why not? Patience is Wolverine’s strongest suit after all.
Though ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ is slated to release in May 2014 and it’s too early to comment, but being a diehard fan of the series and going by the trailer, the film looks epic! Catch the video below and some stills on the pages that follow.
