Director Tigmanshu Dhulia seems to be gunning for a mass appeal in his upcoming film, if the peppy numbers like ‘Tamanche Pe Disco’ (watch it here) and now ‘Don’t Touch My Body’ are to go by.
This number has Mahie Gill, clad in a low-neck choli and a wrap-around made to pass off as a ghaghra, dancing with a bevy of firang extras to a tune that’s decidedly desi. The lyrics too remind you of the bawdiness of a gundaland.
“Don’t touch my body o more saiyyan, tera jala doongi gadda aur takiya,” goes a line by Sandeep Nath. Music is by Sajid-Wajid.
The song also has cutaway shots of Saif Ali Khan in action as the Bullett Raja. He guns down people, smashes wooden planks on his rivals’ heads and dodges the cops on his heavy duty bike. Jimmy Sheirgill is his sidekick.
The trigger-happy Bullett Raja meets his match in the brutal cop (Vidyut Jamwal) who’s hellbent on bringing Raja’s reign in the crimedom to an end.
‘Don’t Touch My Body’ may not be for the listeners and viewers of finer tastes, but the song does leave a punch. Check it out below:
