HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | HAPPENINGS CBI arrests Monica Bedi 11th Nov 2005  15.39 IST By Agencies   According to sources, the CBI arrested Monica Bedi, Bollywood starlet and girlfriend of underworld don Abu Salem, who was extradited along with the gangster. Monica would be produced in a Mumbai court on Friday, the sources said, adding then she would be transferred to Bhopal on a transit remand in a forgery case registered against her in the city for trial. It is said that Monica got roles in Pyar, Ishq aur Mohabbat and Jodi No: 1 at the behest of Salem. And amongst the charges that are on Salem include the murder of Gulshan Kumar in 1997, the murder attempt on Rakesh Roshan in 2000 and the murder of the secretary of Manisha Koirala in 2002.
