The hub of French landscape – Paris – is now dancing to the tune of Bollywood music and songs.
A place where people don't understand the language, yet the symphony and melody of Bollywood music gives them a thrill, which they find most attractive.
In a retail shop, known as Fnac, where various types of cultural and consumer electronics items, book, CDs and DVDs are available in the entertainment segment, Bollywood products are selling like hot cakes.
Which are the songs and films that the French love?
There are 78 Fnac outlets in Paris where music CDs and DVDs from India's tinsel town are the most sought after items, he said.
The love for Indian films and music among the French people is evident and a lot of Bollywood films are being released in Paris and a good number of movies being shot in France.
While Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham , starring SRK and directed by Karan Johar , was released in French as 'La Famille Indienne', a few other films including Lagaan were released there, he said.
"Satyajit Ray's movies are classics. He is one of the most popular filmmakers that I like," said a local guide.
