HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | HAPPENINGS Preity Zinta visits Vaishno Devi07th Oct 2008 10.30 IST By Agencies Bollywood actress Preity Zinta on Monday visited the holy cave shrine of Vaishno Devi in Jammu and Kashmir, reports say. Zinta, accompanied by a friend, arrived at Katra base camp and trekked on foot to reach the shrine. She had a darshan on Monday and later left for Delhi, the police added. 
The actress was recently in Punjab to chalk out rough plans for her Mohali team for the next IPL tournament. The actress said the next tournament is certainly going to be bigger and better than the last one. Preity is also looking forward to three of her forthcoming films. In two of them she plays a Punjabi girl. Preity said her character in Heroes is about Kuljit Kaur, a woman in rural Punjab who is a woman of substance. While in Deepa Mehta's Heaven On Earth , her character Chand, living in Canada, is subjected to domestic violence. Preity said she was not turning serious deliberately on screen. "Films are a reflection of what you are. I am not the bubbly, NRI girl anymore," she said.
