Shilpa Shetty injures her wrist

The actress says she doesn’t know how the injury happened.

“Either it happened because I was practising cartwheels for my new action film or it could be because of the wear and tear that happens in weight training,” Shilpa is quoted as saying.


Doctors have advised her to take a three-month rest.

However, Shilpa will continue shooting for the movie The Man with Sunny Deol and the second season of reality show 'Bigg Boss' as well. She would conceal her wrist injury by wearing long sleeve garments or bangles.

“I'll wear a long sleeve top for 'Bigg Boss' and I'll wear a thick kada (bangle) for 'The Man',” she said.

Meanwhile, resting at home, Shilpa has begun reading scripts, but she is being very choosy as she wants to do films where her character is “exceptionally well developed”. Shilpa has also made it clear that she is not open to multi-starrer flicks.

On the sidelines, Shilpa is also turning producer and is planning her first production venture very cautiously.
