'Mistress Of Spices' is the directorial debut of Paul Mayeda Berges, the husband of Gurinder Chadha in whose movie Bride And Prejudice Aishwarya Rai has previously acted.
'Mistress Of Spices' is based on a book of the same title by author Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni. The movie stars Aishwarya Rai with the 44-yr-old American actor Dylan McDermott .
