Album Review Good but same old tunes By Ajay Chaturvedi
Pukar is A R Rahman’s latest Hindi soundtrack. Like most of his work, this album also has fusion music, which does not sound new. Still, he manages to give some hummable numbers.
Rahman has managed to get best out of Sonu Nigam, Anuradha Paudwal and the goddess of Hindi film industry Lata Mangeshkar. EK Tu Hi Bharosa sung by Lata is the best of the lot.
Key Sera Sera by Shankar Mahadevan and Kavita Krishnamurthy is a foot tapping number with a catchy rhythm. The song is picturized on Prabhu Deva and Madhuri Dixit and Madhuri has really give a brilliant dance performance.
Then the album also has a sweet romantic number by Sunta Hai Mera Khuda by Udit Narayan, Kavita Krishnamurthy and Swarnalatha.
