Ritesh Deshmukh is the son of Vilasrao Deshmukh, the Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Ritesh's first brush with acting came when he joined the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, New York, in the United States.
However, when he came back to India he did not take the plunge into acting in films straightaway. He did some architectural work before cinematographer Kabir Lal suggested his name to director K Vijaya Bhaskar. Bhaskar's movie Tujhe Meri Kasam became Ritesh's launchpad to Bollywood.
Today, Ritesh is considered one among the best comedians and a promising actor in Bollywood. During his free time, Ritesh loves playing cricket and watching films. Ritesh's Dream Woman is tall, pretty and possesses a good sense of humour. | |
