Will Neha be another Ameesha Patel? That is the question Fiza will answer.
The Delhi girl who first appeared in Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Kareeb has so far failed to come up with any other significant movie. Her last film, Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet was a flop. The much-hyped Fiza released to packed houses in Delhi and Mumbai on Friday and Damocles' sword hangs on Neha's slender shoulders.
Neha plays the role of Shahnaaz, a neighborhood friend of Hrithik, waiting for her child hood lover Amman to come back. Amman played by Hrithik disappears in the 1992-93 Mumbai communal riots. Will Amman ever come back is the question that keeps haunting her.
Fiza also stars Jaya Bachchan in the role of Nishbatbi, mother of Karisma and Hrithik. Karishma and Hrithik play reel life brother and sister and Bikram and Neha are left with smaller roles, as their love concerns.
'Ajaa Mahia' is already a hit on the music channels and Neha looks quite good opposite Hrithik. One has to wait to see whether she is able to sustain the audience's interest while Karishma launches a search engine for reel-brother Hrithik.
