Miss World 1999 Yukta Mookhey is all set to make her tinsel town debut early next year.
Yukta has signed to play the female lead opposite Aftab Shivdasani and Syed Zulfi in editor-turned-director A. Muthu's ( director of "Tera Jadoo Chal Gaya") forthcoming film "Pyaasa".
The film, to be produced by Ramesh Sharma, also has Sanjay Narvekar, Anang Desai, Arif Zakaria, Akhilendra Mishra and Govind Namdeo.
Story for the film has been written by Ikram Akhtar while young music directors Sanjeev-Darshan have scored the film's music.
The film is expected to go on the floors in the first week of January with a non-stop 25 days shooting schedule in Kullu-Manali, where a couple of songs as well as some romantic and dramatic sequences will be canned.
Directors have been knocking on Yukta's door ever since she won the Miss World crown last year. However, bound by a contract for the whole year, Yukta couldn’t accept any offer hitherto.
