We may not have seen much of Jas Arora ever since his hardly noticeable debut in Dushman, but it is still not time for him to say adios.
For Jas Arora it all began with a pleasant accident one day. Jas happened to be sitting along with some close chums when his finely chiseled features came to the notice of ace photographer Prabuddha Dasgupta. Lady luck smiled on him and fate opened its doors for Jas and soon he was walking the ramps.
Jas took the obvious route—used ramps as a platform for entry into music videos and the latter to groom himself to ultimately jump into tinsel town. But sunny days were soon to be over as his debut film Dushman left theaters without much noise.
But Jas has not called quits yet. Determined to make a fresh start Jas is pretty confident that his next film Danger, which is also Govind Menon’s first shot at direction, will change the course of his career and win him the admiration of the movie buffs. The film is a taut thriller and Jas plays an ex-convict opposite seasoned actors like Ashutosh Rana and Tara Deshpande.
Jas' rough start on the silver screen seems to have taught him some lessons. Completely void of any whims and fancies about himself as an actor he is pretty much aware of his shortcomings and knows that patience and perseverance will steer his career back on the track. “Acting is not an overnight lesson. One has to perfect the art over time”. There, he said it.
