Ace cinematographer-turned-director Santosh Sivan is planning to direct a Hollywood film.
Noted Malayalam film actor Sreenivasan will play the lead role in the film, which is yet to be titled.
Mr. Sivan, who won critical acclaim for his directorial debut Terrorist.
The film would be made under a popular Hollywood banner and Sivan himself would wield the camera.
The film tries to take a hard look at the American society through the eyes of a Non-resident Indian, played by Sreenivasan.
Sivan’s latest film Asoka seems to have made a good impression on the foreign audience, boosting his confidence. Hence the preparations for the Hollywood venture.
