Bombay Boys director Kaizad Gustad has signed veteran actor Jackie Shroff and super model Madhu Sapre for his next celluloid venture.
The film, titled "Boom" will be based on the razzmatazz of fashion fraternity and its links with the underworld. It will feature real-life designers Tarun Tahiliani, Rohit Bal and Wendell Rodricks playing themselves before the camera.
Madhu Sapre and international model-actress Padma Laxmi, better known as author Salman Rushdie's girl friend, will sashay the catwalk in the film, while Jackie Shroff and Gulshan Grover will play two dreaded underworld dons. Gustad has revealed that in "Boom" he is "trying to accommodate as much fashion fraternity as possible".
The film will be made partly in Hindi and partly in English. It will go on floors on April 15 and be completed in a hectic ten-week schedule.
