In her hour of glory model-turned-actress Aditi Gowitrikar seems to have forgotten the southern springboard, which catapulted her to fame.
Aditi is lapping up all the adulation that has come her way in the wake of the success of her debut film December 16.
But her failure to acknowledge the southern connection appears to have, to say the least, disappointed her well-wishers down south. The southern producers and directors are upset at her singular refusal to admit that it was the Telugu film Thamudu which lifted her when her reel life was in the doldrums.
Tollywood, however, does not seem to have held this lapse on her part against Aditi. For she continues to get offers from the Telugu film world. For instance, she plays an important role in her latest Telugu film Mounamelanoyi.
The grapevine has it that even her sister is getting a foothold in south, thanks to some offers from Tollywood producers.
Come on, Aditi, be a sport and wear your southern sojourn on your sleeves!
