Two important films starring feisty Rani Mukherji as the heroine have gone into deep freeze.
The movies whose future is uncertain are Chori Chori opposite Ajay Devgan and Chalo Ishq Ladaye opposite Govinda.
Milan Luthra-directed Chori Chori was supposed to hit the theatres last month but the film seems to have been shelved permanently. The reason, Rani says, is that “the late producer of the film had problems with some of his previous films, and these have been offloaded on to Chori Chori”.
On the other hand, Aziz Sejwal-directed Chalo Ishq Ladaye is not likely to meet a similar fate despite the death of its producer Vijay Mehta. Although the film has been postponed, it is likely to hit the marquee by the year-end.
