Svelte actress Sonali Bendre will tie the marital knot with her long-standing beau and director Goldie Behl on November 12.
It has been a long and intimate relationship between Sonali and Goldie ever since the duo first met four years ago on the sets of Mahesh Bhatt's movie Angarey. The acquaintance soon developed into love and the two have been going steady since then.
Sonali and Goldie made a formal announcement of their engagement at the birthday bash of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan a few days back. And now the two are reported to have set November 12 for their wedding.
A source close to Sonali indicates that the marriage be a simple traditional ceremony without any ‘pomp and show’. Only close friends, including the Bachchans, the Kapoors, and relatives are going to be at the wedding.
The marriage will be followed by a reception in a Juhu hotel.
Sonali Bendre has acted in films like Hum Saath Saath Hain, Sarfarosh and holds a considerable clout in the film industry down south.
Goldie Behl has directed the Abhishek-Sushmita starrer Bas Itna Sa Khwab Hai.
