Having already ventured into film production, Raveena Tandon has now turned to scriptwriting for her films.
The gorgeous actress is reported to have penned a script for a film that will be made under the banner of her production company, Reel Life Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.
Deepa Mehta, who is currently in the news for her comic flick ‘Bollywood Hollywood’, will in all probability direct the yet-to be-titled film. The movie will feature Raveena in the lead role.
The actress, however, is self-effacing while talking about her newfound interest of putting pen to paper. She says that she cannot “claim that the entire idea of the script is mine. I read a book, was fascinated by the idea and wanted to write it as a film.”
The film will go on floors in January next year.
It may be mentioned that Raveena is producing three films –Pehchaan, ‘Stumped’ and a movie to be directed by E Niwas.
