Months after its release in US, Canada and UK, Deepa Mehta's semi-realistic comedy 'Bollywood Hollywood' will hit the theatres in India in the first week of January.
The film, starring Rahul Khanna and Lisa Ray, is a comedy that combines Bollywood sensibilities with Hollywood's gloss.
While Deepa Mehta's last film 'Earth' was a serious flick that had a rather poor run at the Indian box-office, trade analysts opine that 'Bollywood Hollywood' has the requisite 'punch' that is likely to appeal to Indian movie buffs.
The film, made at the budget of about $2 million, got rave reviews at the Toronto film Festival where it was officially premiered in October.
It is set to hit the Indian theatres on January 6.
