Anil Kapoor is all set to don a police officer’s uniform for a movie that is believed to be the modern day version of Subhash Ghai’s yesteryear hit Kalicharan.
Year 2003 will see a spate of cop films from Bollywood. To name a few, there is the soon-to-be-released Dum starring Vivek Oberoi, Rajkumar Santoshi’s Khaki starring Amitabh Bachchan and Madhur Bhandarkar’s Aan featuring Akshay Kumar.
Add to these a film titled Allwyn Kalicharan that will have apna Anil Kapoor playing an honest and tough cop.
About the movie Anil is reported to have said: “It's a knock-out subject and I cannot wait to get to work on it.”
The film is based on the script by Anurag Kashyap, who also wrote the script for Ramgopal Varma’s Satya.
