Yukta Mookhey’s acting debut Pyaasa may have bit the dust at the marquee, but the young actress is very much looking forward to carve her own niche under the arc lamps.
Yukta says she is not in Bollywood to pass her time or do the bimbette roles ‘that require you to dance around the trees’. She would rather like to be ‘known as the sensible actress.’
So far Yukta has bagged two international projects and four Hindi films.
Interestingly, all these films cast Yukta in woman-oriented roles of substance.
