Akshay Kumar may be an established star in Bollywood today, but he is still a gentleman when it comes to keeping his word to old friends.
As the story goes, almost a decade ago when Akshay had still not made strides under the arc lamps, the actor had promised his good friend and aspiring director Kader Kashmiri that he would act in his film that was at that time titled as Lashkar. The movie was supposed to cast lesser-known Varsha Usgaonkar opposite Akki.
But unfortunately, the film never took off and the project was forgotten with time.
But today, when Kashmiri wanted to revive his dream to make the movie, Akshay did not turned back on his word. So now, after 11 years, Akshay has started shooting in Mumbai with Varsha for the project, which has been now re-titled Hatya - The Murder.
Akshay recently has been the talk of the town for his action thriller Andaaz.
