While her contemporaries seem to have gotten a foothold in Bollywood, former Miss World Yukta Mookhey still has to make her mark under the arc lamps.
Yukta says she made a big mistake by signing Pyaasa as her debut film in Bollywood. The gorgeous stunner says that she wanted to walk out of the movie right after the very first schedule, but stuck on to the project as it was her first film.
But Yukta has learned the nitty-gritty of the film world now. Not only has she become very selective in her assignments, she also makes it a point to know the script beforehand.
Right now, Yukta has as many as six films in her kitty. These include a romantic comedy, a movie that has her playing an NRI girl and another film where she plays an MTV veejey.
It appears that it is only a matter of time before Yukta takes her rightful place in the tinsel town. “I have an immense fighting spirit and great faith in my abilities,” says the model-turned actress.
