Mahima Choudhary has been signed to the female lead in a movie titled ‘Chess’ that will be produced by a UK-based production house Inspired Movies.
It is learnt that Inspired Movies is launching 10 films in India. Of the 10 films is director Manoj Bhatnagar’s ‘Chess’ with Mahima and Anupam Kher in the leading roles. There is likelihood of one more Bollwyood star’s inclusion in the project.
Interestingly, Bhatnagar has also scripted the story and given the music for the film.
The film is believed to be a thriller that draws parallels between the game of chess and real life in which a layman is not more than a pawn in the hands of powerful ones.
This is the first time that Kher and Mahima have been paired opposite each other.
