Rumors are afloat that Preity Zinta has been approached to play the leading female role in Meghna Gulzar’s next film.
Meghna has been cooling her heels ever since her directorial debut Filhaal which brought to notice her skills as a filmmaker despite an average box-office performance.
Now it is heard that Meghna is almost ready with the script of her next movie, believed to be based on another woman-oriented subject. To play the film’s heroine Meghna is reported to have approached Preity, but nothing is formally confirmed as yet.
All that is confirmed is that the movie will be produced under the banner of Pritish Nandy Communications.
And there is an added buzz that it will be a two-heroine project, which means that Meghna must be scouting for another heroine too.
