The Indo-American society has chosen Ajay Devgan and Urmila Matondkar as the actor and actress of the decade for the society’s Fourth Annual Young Achievers Awards.
The event, to be held on December 13, will also felicitate Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukherji (who acted together in Saathiya) as the actor and actress of the Year
Ajay and Urmila (who have worked together in Ramgopal Varma’s horror flick Bhoot) have been chosen by the jury panel comprising eminent personalities including TV Celeb Smriti ‘Tulsi’ Irani, former cricket skipper Ajit Wadekar, corporate baron Arun Nanda and US Emigration Consultant Dr Arun Vakil.
It is learnt that Ajay and Urmila were chosen for their intense performances in a number of films including Prakash Jha’s Gangaajal, Bhoot, Zameen and Urmila’s recently released Pinjar.
