Sanjay Dutt and Sunil Shetty ’s forthcoming movie Rudraksh is being hailed as India’s first mythological science fiction flick.
The movie is a modern-day interpretation of Ramayana in which Sanjay plays the present-day Ram, while Sunil will be seen as the present-day Raavana.
What sets Rudrakshapart from other films is the 75 minutes of animation and visual effects that incorporate some innovative techniques like Motion Tracking using handheld cameras, Laser Holography and 3D Mapping.
The film also boasts of some fantastic fly throughs that takes a viewer through mindspace and an action sequence that uses multiple speeds in the same frame.
Sanjay is particularly optimistic that the movie will be well received by the audience.
"It has shaped up wonderfully well. It is path-breaking in the sense that we've tried to attempt something different this time around," said the actor.
