The two arrived in Kolkata recently to shoot for ace director Rituparno Ghosh 's latest celluloid venture.
'Raincoat', this simple love story as the director prefers to coin it, is about two estranged lovers who meet after an extended sabbatical on a monsoon afternoon.
For Rituparno, whose last film Chokher Bali created waves in India and abroad, this would be his first Hindi feature film.
The star-cast of the film also includes Annu Kapoor, Sulekha Sikri, Sameer Dharmadhikari of Satta fame, Mouli Ganguly and Swati Chatterjee among others. The film is produced by Shree Venkatesh Films, who are also making their foray into Hindi films with Raincoat.
The film will be shot completely in Kolkata.
The first schedule of the film started recently and the indoor sequences of the film will be canned in this schedule.
