Madhuri Dixit has chosen her comeback film very carefully. It won’t be a stereotypical Bollywood drama but a ‘comedy of errors’ involving the subject of generation gap and teenage angst.
The yet-to-be-titled film will be directed by Somnath Sen and produced by Kavita Munjal, the team that made the Dimple Kapadia , Vinod Khanna -starrer Leela.
The highpoint of the movie is that its producer is planning to rope in Amitabh Bachchan to play the leading role opposite Madhuri. Amitabh and Madhuri had earlier come together in David Dhawan’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan but they were not really paired opposite each other in the movie.
But now Kavita Munjal wants to try the unprecedented by pitching them both together in her next movie.
Although Madhuri has consented to act in the movie and even given dates from August 2004 onwards, Bachchan has to still give his nod.
Besides the two, the film will also star two more heroes and one more heroine. Fardeen Khan and Karan Nath are reported to have been approached for the roles but none has confirmed as yet.
