She started her career as a shy Naaz in Reefugee , played the glamorous Poo in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham , then played a low class prostitute in Chameli and then shed off all her make-up to play a simple girl in Dev . And now Kareena Kapoor is doing her first negative role.
Ken Ghosh’s Fida has Kareena playing her fist negative role. The film has Bebo falling in love with two guys, one a simpleton ( Shahid Kapur ) and another a slick businessman ( Fardeen Khan ).
The character played by Kareena goes to the extent of playing ‘naughty’ with the suave Fardeen even though she is in love with someone else.
'Not all love stories have the perfect ending' is the tag line of Fida and the film’s story catches pace when a major online heist worth Rs 55 million takes place in the business accounts of two major companies of a Don. No one knows who is responsible for this online robbery.
The bad guys are now out to catch the culprits and ready to do anything to get their money back.
Fida has music by Anu Malik and is slated to release on August 20.
Fida was supposed to have been directed by Abbas-Mustan with Sanjay Dutt , Bobby Deol and Amisha Patel in the lead but as it so often happens in Bollywood: things didn’t quite fell in place.
