Recently, a special screening of Dobara was held in Mumbai to a selected audience from media and film fraternity. What was particularly surprising about the movie was that it contained many references to the yesteryear hit Ek Duje Ke Liye that starred Kamal Hasan and Rati Agnihotri .
The entire story of Dobara is set in a flashback. It starts with two ex-lovers (Raveena and Jackie) meeting accidentally and then traveling together in a jeep from Goa to Mumbai. As they travel together they reminisce about many things they did together and try to find out what went wrong in their relationship.
Car designer Dilip Chabaria has designed a special automobile for the film by converting a Tata Safari into a roofless jeep.
Dobara also stars Mahima Choudhary and a Pakistani actor Muammar Rana .
