‘DNJAK is not another candyfloss flick’: Preity

Despite the critical reviews Atull Agnihotri’s Dil Ne Jise Apna Kaha is getting, movie’s actress Preity Zinta says that it is a sensitive film and should not be labeled as just another candyfloss flick on the basis of its look.

Acting in DNJAK was just like “a cakewalk” for Preity. In the film, she was acting opposite Salman Khan with whom she had an amazing comfort level because the two have worked together in two films in the past.

In recent interview to a news agency, Preity spoke about her chemistry with Salman, about her opinion of the movie and its director.

About the movie, Preity said: “The whole film has a very nice flavour. It's very sensitive...Yeah, I really liked my role, and the film. But when people see it they'd know it isn't just another sweet candyfloss film.”

Preity’s ease in working with Salman is evident in her words: “In a way, Salman and I have grown together as actors. Salman is himself with me. He never tries to be a prankster or a gentleman when I'm around. We're just ourselves with one another.”

Preity is also full of compliments for her co-actress Bhumika and the film’s director Atull Agnihotri .

“I hope I prove lucky for Atul. He really deserves to succeed. I don't think anyone will feel cheated after seeing "Dil Ne Jise Apna Kaha". Everyone will come out with a smile. And also, the film gives off a very positive message,” said Preity.
