Indian movies at international film festivals 16th Sept 2004

A number of Indian movies will be screened at different film festivals worldwide in the coming days.
On September 15, Tips Films and Bharatbala Productions’ Hari Om made its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film has Vijay Raaz ( Raghu Romeo ) playing a flamboyant auto rickshaw driver while Jean-Marie Lamour plays the arrogant Frenchman and Camille Natta plays his girlfriend.
Another Indian movie to make its world premiere in the coming days will be Rituparno Ghosh's Raincoat , which will be premiered at Chicago Film Festival on October 18 and in London Film Festival on October 21. The movie stars Ajay Devgan and Aishwarya Rai in the lead.
And it is also learnt that Farhan Akhtar’s war-saga Lakshya has been selected for the Rio de Janeiro Film Festival, which starts on September 27. The film stars Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta in the leading roles.
