Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan have been signed to head the cast of writer-turned-director Rumi Jafry’s first film.
Even as Big B and Salman starrer Babul is still in production stages, the two stars have been teamed for another movie.
The man at the helm of things, Rumi Jafry, has written movies for David Dhawan and it can be expected that his directorial debut too will be a fun and frolic film with sufficient doses of romance.
The film is still not titled but it is confirmed that it will also star Ajay Devgan in a parallel role. This will be the second time when Ajay and Salman will come together after Sanjay Bhansali’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam .
The film will be produced by Afzal Khan, who produced Big B-Devgan starrer Hum Kisise Kum Nahin .
Speaking about his film to a leading entertainment portal, Rumi said his yet-untitled movie will be “an entertainer with drama and romance aplenty’. He also made it clear that the film’s storyline is an original idea and not rehashed from another flick.
The film will have one actress, probably a new face.
Shooting for the film will begin in March next year.
