Gauri Karnik has not been able to move beyond marginal roles after her movie Sur . However, the actress is doing a Chinese film in which she plays an Indian princess.
Gauri is reported to have returned after shooting for the Chinese film Himalayan Singh in which she is cast opposite three Chinese actors.
The movie, believed to be an out-and-out comedy, has Gauri playing an Indian princess named Beauty, while the Chinese actors play three suitors trying their chance of marriage with her in Swayamvar.
Being directed by Wai Ka Fai, the movie has a mix of Chinese and Hindi dialogues.
Mallika Sherawat is another Bollywood actress who is working in a China-Hong Kong movie ‘ The Myth ’. In the movie she also plays an Indian princess whose suitor is none other than the martial arts superstar Jackie Chan .
