SCOOP!! & NEWS Preity praises Shahrukh 27th Nov 2004  21.45 IST By ApunKaChoice Bureau   Bubbly Preity Zinta can’t seem to stop singing praises of her Veer Zaara co-star Shah Rukh Khan . Preity and Shahrukh have the credible box-office record of giving a hit movie whenever they come together. Their first film Dil Se appealed to many and their Kal Ho Na Ho went even further and became an international hit. And now, after tagging with SRK for the third time in Veer Zaara, Preity has only compliments for the flamboyant Khan. In a recent interview to a scribe, Preity said Shahrukh was “outstanding in the film.” “I don't think my performance would be half of what it is without him. He's a selfless actor,” said Preity, recalling an incident during Veer Zaara shoot when she tripped and blacked out and Shahrukh lent her “a helping hand”. Preity was no less raving about SRK’s performance in the film. “He's a hundred per cent convincing as the old man. When he reads the poem in the courtroom there isn't a single dry eye in the audience," said Preity, adding that this was one of her favorite scenes in the movie.
