Campus flick aiming at youngsters

Hitting the theatres this Friday will be a campus movie that celebrates the exuberance of youth as much as it evokes the nostalgia of being young again.

The mint-fresh cast of the soon-to-be-released film Rok Sako To Rok Lo exudes confidence of drawing college-going crowd to theatres in their movie that tells the story of five friends.

The lead duo of Yash Pandit and debutante Manjari Phadnis were in Lucknow to promote their film, releasing countrywide on December 10.

Addressing a media conference, Yash said the USP of the film was wholesome entertainment for the family with mellifluous music and strong performances by the actors.

"The flick is about college life and has all the elements of a blockbuster in the making," he added.

'Rok...' is the debut venture of management guru Arindam Chaudhary who has donned the mantle of script-writer and director.

"I essay the role of a middle-class sprightly girl, who is simplicity and liveliness personified," said Manjari.

Manjari had been one of the four finalists at the Channel V's Star Hunt, but missed the title by a whisker, she claimed.

Senior co-actor Sunny Deol came in for high praises and accolades from them, who averred that they learnt much from the dashing Jat.

The film, produced under the banner of Planman Life, has been set to music by Jatin-Lalit and co-stars Namrata Shirodkar , Archana Puran Singh, Deepti Bhatnagar and Tinnu Anand, among others.
