Will Bewafaa do the trick for Kareena?

She has been designated as the flop queen of Bollywood. And that's not without reason. Kareena Kapoor has had eleven flop films in a row.

Kareena's last two films Aitraaz and Hulchul did not set the cash registers ringing at the box-office. It is Priyanka Chopra not Kareena who is getting all the praises for Aitraaz, while Hulchul also failed to create any hulchul at the box-office.

Then Kareena was in news again after allegedly being caught kissing friend Shahid Kapur . The shocking incident opened a debate on the media's interference into the lives of the celebrities.

So after eleven flops, previous nine being Mujhse Dosti Karoge , Jeena Sirf Merre Liye , Talaash , Khushi , Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon , Chameli , Dev , Yuva and Fida , the thing that can bring a smile back on Bebo's face is a hit film.

And Kareena's next film will be Bewafaa. Produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by Dharmesh Darshan , Bewafaa tells the story of changing morals and values in a fast changing world.

The story of the film goes like this:

Kareena plays the younger daughter of Nafisa Ali and Kabir Bedi , the elder being Sushmita Sen , who is married to Anil Kapoor .

Kareena is in love with Akshay Kumar but after Sushmita passes away on the birth of her twin babies, circumstances force Kareena to marry Anil, who is much older and mature than her.

Anil is a business tycoon who hardly finds any time for his sister-in-law turned wife Kareena or his two lovable daughters from Sushmita. Kareena fulfills every role asked for her by the society but cannot bridge the gap between herself and Anil. She finds herself in a marriage that has no compatibility but only compromise. Her only sources of solace are her two endearing stepdaughters.

Amidst all this, one fine day Akshay walks back into her life. Suddenly Kareena is torn between two men - her indifferent husband and her ex-lover. By the time Anil wakes up to reality, Kareena has embarked on to an extra-marital affair with Akshay. And thereby she is tagged as a Bewafaa - The Unfaithful.

How Kareena negotiates her relationship with Anil and Akshay as also Manoj Bajpai and Shamita Shetty who are Anil's close friends and confidantes forms the basis of the second act of the film.

Priyanka makes a special appearance in the film for an item number.

As far as the script of the movie suggests, Kareena will have plenty of scope to showcase her acting credentials, but the question is will Bewafaa be a hit? And even if it does, will it any credit be given to Kareena specially in the presence of such a formidable cast?
