After staying away from the bustle and din of tinsel town for over a year, actress Tabu is back.
Tabu's sabbatical from Bollywood was quite eventful. She traveled to countries in Europe and North Africa, made friends, had chats with Hollywood stars and saw a number of "good movies and plays."
Tabu rented an apartment in London for two months and made sure "to catch at least one movie or play everyday." After that she traveled to Rome with three girl friends, and also made "an enthralling trip" to the Vatican City.
Among men, Tabu met Hollywood stars Ralph Fiennes, George Clooney, Nicholas Cage and Colin Farrell. While Clooney chatted endlessly with her about Bollywood films, Cage appreciated her performance in Maqbool . But it was Farrell who seemingly impressed her the most with his flamboyance and exotic dressing sense at a party in Morocco.
Back home, Tabu is now ready to face the camera for Mira Nair 's film 'The Namesake', which is based on a story by Pulitzer winner Jhumpa Lahiri.
