Set in azure and sultry backdrop of Goa, the film tells the story of a young cop Siddharth (Emraan) whose marriage with his wife Sonia (Shamita) is on the brink of divorce.
In matter of time, Siddharth falls for a local married woman named Anna (Udita). Anna is stuck in a bad marriage with a man who beats and abuses her. She is also suffering from cancer. Though her husband knows that, he doesn't care about her.
Siddharth and Anna cross the forbidden lines in their relationship. But then on a fateful day, an unfortunate incident takes place and turns Siddharth’s life topsy-turvy.
Mahesh Bhatt , along with his brother, Mukesh has produced the film. At a press conference to announce the film, Mahesh said, “The USP of the film is that it is a 21st century portrayal. It deals with the inter personal relationship of a young, urban, married couple.”
“It's a very honest film with good performances and the performers did a lot of hard work. So I hope the audience like it," said Shamita Shetty.
Bhatt also emphasized the need for films to offer something eye-candy for the audience in order to ensure the box-office success.
