Ajay Devgan ’s previous attempt at film production did not bear much fruit at the box-office. But that doesn’t deter him from investing in prospective celluloid ventures.
Devgan is reported to be very excited about producing a film written by good friend and filmmaker Anees Bazmi.
Five years back, his company Devgan Entertainment had suffered a major setback after the debacle of their big budgeted Raju Chacha that starred Ajay and Kajol .
And now we hear reports that Devgan is ready to produce a film that Bazmee had been working on for more than a year. Ajay reportedly was excited about producing the film himself when he heard the script.
The movie, yet untitled, will be a romantic comedy. The story of the film is set in Europe. Ajay’s female co-star has not yet been decided. Besides the two leading players, the film will also have four other interesting characters.
Ajay is presently busy with Prakash Jha’s Apharan after which he will commit to a Priyadarshan film.
His film with Bazmee is likely to go on floors in November and will be shot in a single schedule in London or some other European city.
