SCOOP!! & NEWS Udita feels ‘cheated’06th Apr 2005 23.00 IST By Aparajita Ghosh Her steamy scenes in Zeher are serving as the crowd pullers. But Udita Goswami finds herself relegated to the sidelines in the film. Udita is furious that the Bhatts (producers) have used her in Zeher as a mere game to entice the viewers to cine theatres. She is fuming at the fact that her co-star Shamitaa Shetty is almost there in every frame of the film, but her own footage has been chopped off considerably in the final product.
She also complains that there was a song in the film that was originally meant to be shot on her, but was later passed on to Shamitaa. A report on Mid-Day quotes Udita as saying: “I have been cheated. Shamitaa Shetty is there in almost every scene. A song that was to be picturised on me was passed on to her. I was led to believe that the “other woman” role in Zeher would be meatier, but it has just turned out to be fleshier.” Udita also expressed doubt whether she would like to work with the Bhatts again. There are also talks that Udita is no more on talking terms with the movie’s director Mohit Suri, who is also her boyfriend. Suri, on the other hand, is on cloud nine after the good run of his movie at the box-office. Responding to Udita’s accusation, he told the daily: “I am not seeing Udita.
