Just days after the release of her directorial debut Nazar , Soni Razdan has moved on to her next projects.
Even as Nazar is drawing mixed reactions from cine goers and is being telecast on television in Pakistan, Soni Razdan is already working on her next movie.
The yet untitled movie will be based on a gay relationship.
“It’s a very interesting project, about a friendship between two boys. It’s a film aimed at the youth, something I wanted to do,” Razdan told an entertainment site.
In Razdan’s words, the film will “explore the sexual politics in relationships”. The movie will also have a lot of female characters. And one aspect of the story will show how women too exploit sexual relationships for their own means.
Besides this movie, Razdan is also planning a love story titled Behzatti (Insult).
Both films are presently believed to be in scripting stages.
Will Pakistani actress Meera be a part of either of these projects? Razdan says the projects are still in very nascent stages and the cast for the movies will be finalized after completing the script.
Meanwhile, Razdan is content with her maiden directorial attempt Nazar. According to her husband Mahesh Bhatt , “it (Nazar) is a pretty decent start for a first timer.”
