SCOOP!! & NEWS Showdown between Shah Rukh and Hrithik at IIFA Awards06th June 2005 11.12 IST By Agencies The forthcoming International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards will witness a 'pitched battle' in a showdown between superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan . Indian filmstars are all set to bat it out for a noble cause at this year's IIFA Awards. 
The celebrity cricket match, to be played at the Amsterdam Olympic stadium on June 10, will raise funds for the welfare of Indian film industry artistes and will feature a galaxy of current Bollywood stars, an IIFA release said in New Delhi. SRK and Hrithik will captain two opposing teams, which feature the likes of Abhishek Bachchan , Anil Kapoor , Vivek Oberoi , Saif Ali Khan , Fardeen Khan and Zayed Khan . Former cricketers Mohammad Azharuddin and Aravinda DeSilva will also be part of the celebrity line-up. Cheering the rival teams from the sidelines will be Bollywood starlets Preity Zinta , Kareena Kapoor , Manisha Koirala , Dia Mirza , Esha Deol and others. For cricket lovers who miss Sidhu's one-liners, tinseltown entertainers Chunky Pandey , Boman Irani and Neelam will keep spectators entertained in their latest avatar as commentators. "The match is an attempt by IIFA to provide support to the behind-the-scenes workers of the Indian film industry and their families, who have faced misfortune during the course of shooting," says Sambas Joseph, Director, Wizcraft International Entertainment.
