For a small-town girl of Jamshedpur to create a stir in Bollywood is no mean task. But Tanushree Dutta is doing that and slated for much more.
Tanushree, who spent the best years of her life in Pune and where she got her first modelling break, was crowned Ponds Femina Miss India Universe 2004 at a glittering ceremony in Mumbai last year.
This Bengali beauty, who is a major foodie and enjoys all kinds of fish curries with rice, started her career with the music video ‘Saiyyan dil mein ana re’ and now has three films in her kitty.
Other than that, Tanushree is also working in ‘Ashique Bananya Apne’ and ‘Rokada’.
But her dream role is that of a queen. Talking to a leading newspaper, Tanushree says, "I want to be a queen. I have always been fascinated by the lifestyle of kings and queens and that's what my dream role is. I want to be known as a good actress as well as a saleable one. I think I'll make it." Check her photo gallery and you may agree with her.
For starters, Tanushree plays a temptress with a dubious past in ‘Chocolate’.
