Director Govind Menon recently announced that he won’t be casting sex-kitten Mallika Sherawat in his next film. To be honest, Mallika has no reasons to worry about that.
Yes, if reports are true, then Varma has signed Mallika Sherawat for his under-production film Darna Zaroori Hai, which is a sequel to Varma's earlier experimental multi-starrer Darna Mana Hai.
The casting of Mallika by Varma has surprised one and all because both the personalities come from quite different sensibilities and school of filmmaking.
There was buzz on this happening in the industry for quite some time now but Varma has finally consented to the proceeding. What needs to be seen is that will Varma cash in on Mallika's sex-symbol image or give her a complete changeover?
Darna Zaroori Hai has been long in the making and promises to be bigger and better in terms of its star cast and execution. The sequel like its predecessor will also have six separate episodes that will converge to a single common climax and this time each episode will be directed by a different director.
Prawal Raman, Sajid Khan, Jijy Philip, Rohit Jugraj (director of James ) will be directing the other chapters. The movie also stars Anil Kapoor , Randeep Hooda and other big names.
With films from Ghai and Varma, does Mallika really need Menon?
