Bipasha has all that it takes to be a Bengali heroine. She hails from Bengal, has Bengali looks and knows how to speak the language fluently. 
In fact, in the past she was offered roles in Rituparno Ghosh’s Chokher Bali and Buddhadeb Dasgupta’s Kaalpurush. But Bipasha couldn’t do these films because of her other commitments in Bollywood. However, now that the sultry babe is relatively free, she is eagerly looking forward to act in Rituparno Ghosh ’s next film. Bipasha made verbal her eagerness to a news agency. She said: “I'm a complete Bengali at heart. I speak Bengali fluently. And my parents have long egged me on to do a Bengali film. Really, you can't be a Bengali actor and not do a Bengali film.” Bipasha added that she is having “serious negotiations” with Rituparno Ghosh about acting in the filmmaker’s future project. If her dates permit, she said she would definitely do the film.
