She did a lot of homework before shooting for the biggest movie in the history of Bollywood. Amisha is reported to have studied a book titled ‘White Mughal’ to acclimatize herself with the living style of that period. 
Amisha, who is looking forward to the release of the film says, "The book provided me with full knowledge of that time. Besides, Aamir Khan , the hero and Ketan Mehta , the director, also guided me in playing my character as well as I have been able to do." Besides Aamir and Amisha, ‘The Rising’ also stars Rani Mukherjee as a prostitute and Hollywood actor Toby Stephens as a soldier. The film is slated to his the theatres on August 12.
