HOME | SCOOP!! & NEWS | BOLLYWOOD Old ghosts come back to haunt Aamir18th Aug 2005 19.40 IST An old rumor about Aamir Khan having an illegitimate child by a British journalist has come back to haunt the actor. The two-year-old rumor got a fresh lease of life on Wednesday after the Aaj Tak news channel showed photographs of Jessica Hines, a Briton, and her two-year-old son Jaan, rumored to have been sired by Aamir. 
The channel quoted Hines as saying that she had resisted pressure from Aamir to abort the child. She added she had assured the actor that she would raise Jaan on her own. Hines was further quoted as accusing Aamir of not inquiring about the child even once. Aamir has in the past denied having any illegitimate child. The 40-year-old actor divorced his wife Reena more than a year ago and is presently believed to be in a relationship with Kiran Rao. Aamir is nowadays basking in the limelight for his portrayal of Mangal Pandey in The Rising .
